Cue Connect / Working name In development

One cue.
More possibilities.

A planned bridge from wired DMX show control to our own wireless props.

Your existing show controller handles sequencing. All capabilities below are planned, not validated or released.

01 / At the prop

The receiver.

Light, sensing and interaction — connected to the show.

Concept illustration of a wireless prop receiver board; not an as-built product.

512

DMX channels

Planned goal: one universe for real-time addressable LED effects.

8

Digital I/O

Configurable 3.3V signals for buttons and triggers.

7

Analog inputs

Read changing sensor values.

8

PWM-capable outputs

Variable control using shared PWM resources.

Full-universe translation remains unimplemented and unverified; 512 channels is a support goal, not 512 physical outputs. Logic I/O needs external drivers for loads. Shared resources mean eight PWM outputs do not provide eight independent frequencies.

Direct wireless link

Planned Wi-Fi radio connection to our transmitter; no router.

Address at the prop

DMX address range 001–512 designed for display and storage.

Battery + USB-C

Charging and run-while-charging planned; not yet validated.

Planned: 3.3 V UART serial · I²C sensor/control expansion (shared bus) · Onboard microSD card slot

Learn more: connections and triggers

Planned 3.3 V UART logic serial is not RS232 or RS485. I²C expansion shares a bus with onboard circuitry; it is not an isolated accessory bus. UART, I²C and the microSD interface are separate from the eight spare I/O. The 3.3 V reference does not imply power for arbitrary accessories. These are design capabilities, not tested shipping functionality.

Sensor, button and puzzle triggers are planned without exposing the experience’s solutions. A configurable remote digital I/O example maps DMX values 0–125 to off and 126–255 to on; this is an example setting, not a universal protocol guarantee.

Optional audio expansion / Planned

A cue you
can hear.

I²S digital audio expansion
microSD clips · Play / stop / pause · Fades

Planned I²S expansion requires an external DAC and amplifier; no built-in amplified output is promised.

Learn more: audio

The onboard microSD card slot is part of the current design. Playback, logging and filesystem support remain unimplemented/planned.

02 / At the show

The transmitter.

Bring a wired DMX universe into the wireless link.

Concept illustration of a cased wireless DMX transmitter; not actual CAD or an as-built device.
Concept illustration — final design may change. Blue glow is illustrative lighting.
01

512-channel input

Planned goal: one standard wired DMX universe.

02

Passive DMX THRU

3-pin screw terminals continue the wired chain.

03

Our wireless receivers

A planned direct link to the props.

04

USB power + programming

Direct USB show control is a future goal.

Transmitter functions are planned and not yet tested. No commercial wireless DMX interoperability or guaranteed software compatibility is claimed.

Learn more: connecting a PC

Intended signal chain: PC → compatible USB-to-DMX adapter → transmitter wired DMX input → our receivers.

Direct USB control from show software is a future goal, not confirmed adapter emulation. Standard Wi-Fi-to-DMX interoperability is not claimed.
